C608 roughing end mills have a 30 degree helix, which reduces vibration and improves performance when used in CNC machines. The bright finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you get a clean and accurate result whilst the regular flute length, including fine pitch profile, is designed to break chips for efficient roughing applications. The tools are manufactured from premium high speed cobalt for excellent tool strength, wear resistance and performance. C608 roughing end mills are suitable for machining steels, cast iron and stainless steels, and can be used for roughing when plunging, ramping and profile milling.
