Explore Colton's new line of cutting tools

We're excited to offer the new line of cutting tools from Colton. Colton Tools, who introduced measuring & inspecting and toolholding products in 2020, now enters the cutting tool market with a new line of carbide end mills for 2021 that we're excited to bring to our customers.

Let's take a look at some of the features of the new line. Colton is offering square and ball end mills in 3 distinct categories:

4 flute end mills

Colton's 4 flute end mills are offered with the new CCT-1 coating, a high-performance option for your toughest applications. CCT-1 offers added lubricity and high temperature resistance, resulting in faster speeds/feeds and increased tool life.

The Colton 4 flute line comes in stub, standard, and long length options.

3 flute end mills

Colton Tools is also adding a 3 flute line of square and ball end mills. This is an uncoated option engineered for high performance and increased metal removal rates in aluminum, plastic, and other easier-to-machine material. These end mills deliver incredible value with pristine geometry and tight tolerances. 

2 flute end mills

Like the 3 and 4 flute mills, Colton's 2 flute end mill line has attentiveness to edge prep, polishing, and post-production inspection, thanks to made-in-the-USA manufacturing and ISO-certified techniques. Features the finest grades of carbide found in the industry at a competitive price. The 2 flute is offered in stub, standard, and long length options, with a large selection of length of cut, mill diameter, and overall length choices to suit any project.

Advanced CCT-1 Coating

Offered on the 4 flute square and ball end mills, Colton's proprietary CCT-1 coating has a unique ability to better handle high heat. Whether you are cutting cold roll steel or the most advanced aerospace alloys, CCT-1 will help you get the job done.

This proprietary blend of ingredients is designed to give you better performance in all cutting applications. High hardness, high elasticity, low friction coating excels in stainless steels and other high nickel-based alloys. Whether you are roughing or finishing, CCT-1 is up to the task.
