Extremely well-made inside and out with an easy to use and aesthetically-pleasing design and appearance,
this bench lathe will be one of the most efficient and productive tools in your machine shop. It's highly accurate
for maximum efficiency and is ideal for a variety of common cutting and shaping jobs. It's also capable of
producing cylindrical and tapered shapes on various materials including iron, steel and plastics.
The SC4 lathe is equipped with everything the operator needs to do great work including an electronic speed
control for strong torque at all speeds, electronic braking and instant direction reversal for jobs such as tapping.
The powerful 1000-watt brushless motor is completely sealed to keep damaging corrosives like dirt, dust, oil,
and metal chips where they belong - outside the motor housing. The motor is also permanently lubricated and
maintenance-free so you save money on operating costs. Using the change gears included, power feed rates
may be adjusted and a wide range of both metric and SAE external and internal threads can accurately be cut
with dimensions of 0.001" or better possible. Suitable for bench mounting.
