With 3 flutes to reduce vibration and chatter, providing smooth chamfering operations, 4608 Union Butterfield countersinks have options of 60, 82, 90 and 100° countersinks, each available in 5 different fractional sizes, to chamfer holes for fasteners with 60, 82, 90 and 100° angles. The bright finish ensures clean and accurate chamfers by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tools whilst the reduced plain shank means large diameter countersinks can be held in standard holders and chucks. Manufactured from premium High Speed Steel, 4608 3-flute countersinks are suitable for chamfering holes in steel, aluminum, stainless steel and many other materials.
