The A012 drills in the set are made from high speed steel and are suitable for drilling a wide range of materials including stainless steel, aluminum and steels, and have a titanium aluminum nitride tip to extend the life of the drill and improve performance when drilling harder materials. The drills can be used in a wide range of hand-held and machine applications and have a special 118° split point, which is a great help with self-centering and produces a rounder, more accurate hole.
