The A350 drill is a long series drill bit with a taper shank. It is recommended for drilling deep holes or for applications where increased reach is required. The A350 has a steam oxide finish which stops workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges, whilst the 118° point angle means the point is easy to regrind but also provides strength. The tools are manufactured from high speed steel and can be used to drill a wide variety of material including aluminium, stainless steels and steels. These taper shank drills come in a wide range of metric sizes and can be held directly in the spindle which makes them very versatile.
