C403 4-flute milling cutters from Dormer are manufactured from high speed cobalt which means you get superior performance and a longer tool life. Primarily roughing end mills, they can be used for roughing when plunging, ramping and profile milling and are suitable for use in steels, stainless steels and cast iron. The long series flute design with NF profile is designed to break chips for efficient roughing of deep profiles. The bright finish ensures a cleaner, more accurate result by effectively preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool. Finally, as an aid to reduce vibration and improve performance when used in CNC machines, the C403 milling cutter has a 30 degree helix.
