Four-Sided Tooling Blocks-Modular, Standard 1/2"

Precision tooling block for horizontal machining centers, incorporating our Standard (1/2-13) modular system. One-piece cast iron construction provides superior accuracy, dimensional stability, and vibration dampening. All four faces are Finish machined to tight tolerances and qualified to the base, with a grid of multipurpose holes spaced at 2.0000" within .0008" of true position. Universal mounting holes fit almost any inch or metric slot spacing. The tooling blocks fit 400mm square pallets.

Application Information

These tooling blocks have four identical faces, ideal for loading a large number of medium-size parts on a pallet.

Multipurpose Holes (Standard)

Each multipurpose hole on a Standard System MF40 tooling plate or block has a 1/2" ID bushing on top with a 1/2-13 threaded insert below it. Multipurpose holes are located in a precise 2.0000" grid pattern, spaced within ±.0008 inches of true position. Locating Screws, with a precision ground shoulder, are used to locate and fasten at the same time.

JIS Mounting
DIN Mounting

Dual mounting capability allows both JIS mounting (locating from two reference edges) and DIN mounting (locating from center and radial holes) with excellent accuracy.
