United StatesReasonable Quality Tool Post Fit for Purpose ... After Deburring
I purchased two of these sets. Colton Industrial Tools 97116 | 5 Piece Machinist Pro Set- AXA Quick Change Wedge Style Tool Post With #1XL, #2XL, #4, #7 Holders The toolholders are fine. But both wedge style tool posts required disassembly, thorough cleaning and no small amount of deburring. Final burnishing the mating wedge and actuator threads with a NYALOX abrasive impregnated nylon bristle wheel did wonders. With that done, both tool posts work smooth as butter. TIP: When disassembling the tool post, be mindful the cap is left-hand thread.

Hold It Right There
I use this set to hold all kinds of shapes and sized items to slot, cut, and mill. This is a nice set, have had no problems with fit and finish,or holdings slipping or moving. Threads on rods and nuts are smooth and work well. Just wish the tool holder was metal. Decent price also.

Very happy with the toolpost. Very smooth movement to clamp the toolholder. One thing to keep in mind is that it comes with a base which needs to be machined to match your lathe. Not a big deal if you have a mill.

So far, I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of these gages. Compared to the competition, I checked every single pin gage for accuracy and they were spot on. I'm also very pleased that finally there is a proper and professional quality packaging for this item - from the case and the individual pin gage cases themselves is amazing. I have the .201" to .300" gage set, and I will adding to rest of the sets to complete my pin collection.

Its a good product but I am unhappy that you ignored my email to you. Just after ordering the clamping kit I realized that I had ordered a kit with 3/8" bolts when I need a kit with 1/2" bolts. I tried to cancel the order within 5 minutes after I ordered it but your group ignored my request to cancel my order. I am using the kit that you sent but it isn't what my mill needs.

This is not a 1/16” diameter tool, as indicated, causing me to purchase collets for. Shows up, and it is an 1/8” shank. How I have two 20$ collets I will probably never use.
