3M Peltor Earmuffs X4/ X5 Probed Test Cushions easily snap into the 3M Peltor X-Series X4 and X5 Earmuffs (sold separately) to allow for fit testing with the 3M E-A-Rfit  dual-Ear Validation System. The complete system issues a pass or fail rating based on the employee's personal attenuation rating (PAR) when ing 3M Peltor X-Series X4 and X5 Earmuffs 3M Peltor HYX3 Hygiene Kit includes replaceable ear cushions and foam liners to help keep Peltor X3 Series Ear Muffs clean and extend the service life. The X3 Ear Muffs are red in color. Inspect earmuffs regularly for cracked or worn parts, especially the cushions. Replace as needed. 3M recommends replacing foam liners and cushions at least every 6 months in order to maintain acceptable noise reduction, hygiene and comfort. The 3M Peltor X Series earmuffs are ideal for protection against noise arising from a wide range of applications in the workplace. Examples of typical applications include: metal processing, automotive, airports, construction, textile manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, cement manufacturing, printing, woodworking, heavy engineering, foundry, steelworks, and mining and quarrying.
