Despite being the thickest 3M duct tape, the polyethylene backing can still be easily torn from the roll by hand. Extra-strength rubber adhesive bonds fast and firm to many surfaces including plastic, glass, and sealed concrete. It performs best in temperatures ranging from 40 °F (4 °C) to 150 °F (65 °C) and is ideal for jobs requiring strength, wear resistance, and surface protection.
