Description
The 3M 7100320278 Scotch Weld Epoxy Adhesive is a low odor, two part epoxy formulated for structural bonding where thermal expansion and dissimilar substrates are a concern. Specially made for reliable bonds on metal, ceramics, stone and many plastics, this 1:1 mix epoxy provides 25 minutes of open working time and reaches handling strength in about 150 minutes. 3M DP125 flows smoothly for controlled dispensing to minimize dripping and migration and is available in bulk or Duo Pak formats for metered application. Fully cured in approximately 7 days at 72°F (22°C), the adhesive is UL 94 HB certified and is suitable for appliance, transportation, signage and general industrial assembly where durable, flexible joints are required.
Product Features and Benefits
Broad substrate compatibility
Bonds metal, ceramics, stone, wood and many plastics are useful where dissimilar materials and thermal expansion require a compliant, durable bond.
1:1 mix ratio with 25 minute work life
Simple 1:1 ratio enables easy bulk mixing or Duo-Pak metered dispensing and provides 25 minutes of repositioning time for accurate assembly.
Short handling time, full ambient cure
The 3m scotch-weld epoxy adhesive dp125, attains handling strength in 150 minutes and reaches full cure in 7 days at 72°F (22°C), enabling staged fixturing and downstream processing.
Controlled dispense low odor, low migration
The 3m scotch weld plastic adhesive, flows smoothly for precise placement using 3M applicators and duo-pak systems, reducing dripping and material waste during application.
Tolerant of thermal expansion and movement
