3M between coats finishing pads are used to prepare surfaces before applying the first coat of finish or sealer and again between coats to obtain a super-smooth finish.

3M Final stripping pads replace "0" steel wool. Thoroughly clean surfaces of all remaining residue to keep blemishes from occurring when stains or finishes are applied. 3M final stripping Pads will not harm wood surfaces. Use these pads to thoroughly clean surfaces of all remaining residue prior to applying stain or finish. If surfaces are not completely cleaned, blemishes may occur when stains or finishes are applied.
