Cloth roll 237AA is commonly used on mild steel, stainless steel, nickel, cobalt alloys, aluminum, brass, copper and titanium.

- Pyramid-like abrasive structures minimize heat build-up that results from dull mineral gouging the substrate
- Pyramid-like structures contain abrasive mineral that cuts cleanly through the substrate, producing finer finishes than conventional abrasives
