Designed primarily for sealing aircraft cargo bay panels, 3M glass cloth tape 398FRP is an ideal choice for applications requiring high adhesion, an abrasion resistant backing and flame retardant properties. This tape offers a durable abrasion and puncture resistant glass cloth backing that is conformable for ease of installation.

• 3M Flame Retardant Glass Cloth Tape 398FRP has a printed liner which shows it meets industry FAR specifications. This tape features pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that adheres to a variety of substrates. It is mounted on a blue, polyethylene, skip-slit liner for ease of application. Once bonded, this adhesive provides high, secure adhesion for extended periods in a wide range of climate and temperature conditions, including temperatures as high as 250ºF/121ºC. This tape features good puncture resistance, high tensile strength and superior abrasion resistance.
