3M Adhesion Promoter K520UV is a liquid promoter used to improve the adhesion of 3M Acrylic Foam and Acrylic Plus Tapes to Polyolefin-based substrates such as thermoplastic olefins (TPO), Polypropylene (PP)and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber.

Even the best products can use a bit of assistance on occasion and that's the idea behind the 3M Adhesion Promoter K520UV. It's designed to help 3M Acrylic Foam and Acrylic Plus Tapes adhere to substrates which are typically difficult to form an adhesive bond against. This includes surfaces to Polyolefin-based substrates such as thermoplastic olefins (TPO), Polypropylene (PP) and EPDM rubber. This acetone solvent dries fast to maximize work time and eliminate downtime.  It contains a fluorescent dye that makes it easily visible once applied and helps technicians to quickly verify that coverage is complete and consistent for a reliable bond. Since formulations and surface energies vary for these materials, each application should be verified through testing.
