3M Dynatron 472 is a glass-reinforced polyester body filler specifically made for professional automotive body repair. The 3M 7000125050 formulation, also known as Dyna-Hair, contains long strand reinforcement to increase tensile strength and reduce crack propagation. This green body filler cures quickly, taking only 3-5 minutes to handle, and sands to a smooth finish in about 20 minutes. Once cured, it is waterproof and can be used to repair fibreglass, bare or galvanised steel, and aluminium. The product has excellent featheredging and consistent workability for rust-out repairs and dent filling. It is intended to provide consistent adhesion and compatibility with the majority of automotive paints, as well as to facilitate primer and topcoat workflow. Volume and packaging are optimised for workshop use with a 1-quart can for repeated small to medium repairs.
