3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2158 is a rigid, multi-purpose, two-part high strength adhesive that chemically cures at room temperature. This equal mix ratio (1:1) epoxy has a 2 hour work life, allowing time for adjustments and positioning of substrates and parts. It reaches handling strength in approximately 10 hours and fully cures in 7 days. With a relatively high viscosity this epoxy dispenses easily to ensure a controlled, precise and accurate application that won't migrate. Once cured this adhesive provides a rigid bond with high shear strength to deliver better dead load holding. This product can be used in a wide range of industries including: general industrial, metalworking, construction, military, transportation and aerospace.

Epoxy adhesives are part of the class of adhesives called "structural adhesives," which also includes polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others.
