They have a bright finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you get a clean and accurate result, whilst the extra long shank gives the rigidity need for standard profile milling. The tools can be used for milling in steels, stainless steels and cast iron, and are suitable for plunging, ramping and profile milling.
