S813HB 3-flute slot drills are manufactured from premium carbide and have a special Alcrona coating, Together, these two features will give you greatly extended tool life and superior performance, especially when milling materials which are difficult to machine. The medium length flute design and accurate diameter mean you get good rigidity for milling standard slots and can mill standard keyway slots to P9 tolerance. S813HB 3-flute slot drills are very versatile being suitable for machine steels, cast iron, stainless steelss and non-ferrous material, and can be used for plunging, ramping and profile milling.
