Scotch vinyl electrical tape super 88 is an 8.5 mil thick, premium grade, all weather tape that is designed to provide a protective jacket and primary electrical insulation for splices up to 600V. The flame retardant tape withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 °F ( 18 to 105 °C).

Scotch Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 88 is a professional-grade electrical insulating tape composed of an elastic vinyl (PVC) film backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive, rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive.

This all-weather vinyl insulating solution performs consistently in ambient temperatures up to 105°C (221°F) while remaining conformable for cold weather applications down to -18°C (0°F).

Providing moisture-tight electrical and mechanical protection, and compatibility with solid dielectric cable insulations and epoxy and polyurethane resins, this tape is designed for use in industrial, commercial and residential environments where a flame retardant, sunlight and cold resistance rating is required (UL510).
