Scotch tape 2520 is an 8 mil thick, highly conformable, premium grade tape that's suitable for bus bars, motor leads and service drop connections. It withstands temperatures up to 221 °F (105 °C).

Scotch Varnished Cambric Tape 2520 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape made from straight-cut woven cotton cambric fabric. The fabric is oil-primed and coated with a high-grade yellow electrical insulating varnish; varnished cambric tapes are flexible, electrically-insulating and moisture-resistant with a smooth finish. This tape is designed to perform continuously in temperatures up to 105 °C (221 °F) with excellent resistance to abrasion, puncture and cut-through, while its adhesive holds the tape in position after application.
