This high tack adhesive tape offers resistance to corrosion, impact, abrasion and puncture, making it suitable for use on metal piping systems, conduits and fittings both above and below ground.

3M Scotchrap Tape 50 Corrosion Protection Tape is a highly resilient option for straight pipes, conduits, and field joints present on mill coated pipes. Built to withstand harsh weather conditions, this tape maintains its bond in extreme temperatures ranging from -55 °F (-48 °C) to 176 °F (80 °C). Pressure sensitive rubber adhesive ensures excellent tacking and a flexible PVC backing offers outstanding mechanical strength, conformability, and electrical insulation properties. Together, 3M Scotchrap tape 50 corrosion protection tape resists corrosion from UV rays, salt water, soil acids, alkalis, salts, and chemicals.
