The thick rubber adhesive attaches well to masonry and other rough surfaces, while the curl-resistant backing conforms to irregular and curved surfaces, tears cleanly off the roll by hand, and is easy to write on. In addition to the nuclear power, shipbuilding and stainless steel industries, this high-performance tape is also used in construction, electrical, industrial, marine and military applications where low leachable halides and sulfur are required.
