3M Temflex electrical tape 1700 is a 7 mil thick, general purpose, vinyl electrical tape. This flame retardant tape is designed for protective jacketing and harnessing. This tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 32 to 176 °F (0 to 80 °C).

3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 1700 is strong and durable, providing electrical protection that uses a strong rubber resin adhesive and an elastic PVC backing. It is ideal for various applications, including primary wire insulation on joints and splices, harnessing and bundling jobs, and cable repair applications up to 600 V for UL Listed and 1000V for CSA Listed. This tape meets the rating for UL510 and CSA - C22.2 No. 197, offering optimal performance in cold weather environments and passes as flame retardant while performing within a temperature range between 14 °F to 176 °F (-10 °C to 80 °C) for UL510 and 32 °F to 176 °F (0 °C to 80 °C) for CSA - C22.2 No. 197.
