This fast- and free-cutting wheel is available in a diamond grade of 100 and should be run with a water based coolant. The use of coolant is critical for it removes heat away from the workpiece and wheel, adds lubricity reducing grinding friction and helps to clear away swarf.

• The abrasive surface of the 3M cut-off wheel 675BM is the periphery, where it is coated with diamond to a depth of .25". This wheel generally cuts radially through the workpiece.
