The 3M Conditioning Brush helps you get the most use out of your single- or double-sided buffing pads during paint or gelcoat finishing. This buffing pad conditioning brush removes the dried compound or polish that can build up on foam compounding pads and all wool buffing and polishing pads, keeping them clean and effective. The brush features short bristles that penetrate gently into wool, removing dried compound and polishing material that can dull the pad and even scratch the finish on your boat, car, truck or RV. You can use this brush to keep wool pads or foam compounding pads residue-free following short breaks in gelcoat or paint finishing. You can also store the conditioned pads so you can reuse them later, allowing for more uses per pad. The brush is angled for a secure grip that's comfortable yet keeps the bristles positioned for maximum pad cleaning and conditioning.
