3M PPS Series 2.0 Lids are designed for the next generation 3M PPS Series 2.0 Spray Cup System. A 1/4-turn locking system replaces this traditional PPS collar, letting you attach the lid to the hard cup with a quick twist. A domed design allows up to 3 oz of fluid below the filter, reducing inconsistent spray and sputter. Full-diameter filters and a wider fluid spout improve flow and filtration.
3M PPS 2.0 Spray Cup System Lids are an essential component of all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying paint materials. These lids fit the midi and mini PPS 2.0 paint cups and the midi, mini and micro liners. PPS 2.0 disposable lids feature improvements like a quarter-turn locking collar, domed design for better spray performance, wider fluid spout and redesigned adapter for a more stable connection with the paint gun. Each lid strains paint material with a built-in 125-micron filter, commonly used for waterborne paint materials. Unlike with conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, with PPS you don't have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into a paint reservoir, so you waste less paint. And with a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there's less risk of outside contamination. By using this system, you can increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent vs. conventional paint cup systems. Specially designed PPS stainless steel metal adapters let you use the PPS 2.0 system with virtually any spray gun. Use to apply paints, stains, varnishes, basecoats, undercoats, primers, sealers, clearcoats, gelcoats, sprayable adhesives and more.
