3M Secure Click Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge D8003 is NIOSH-approved to help provide respiratory protection against certain organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride/sulfur dioxide, or chlorine dioxide or hydrogen sulfide. The D8003 organic vapor/acid gas cartridges are for use with 3M Secure click facepieces. Secure click cartridges utilize dual flow technology for easy breathing.3M Secure click Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge D8003 has the Secure click connection style. The 3M Secure click connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the cartridges. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and cartridge and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide they are confidence that the cartridges are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click cartridges are dual-flow to allow easier breathing. Two dual-flow cartridges on each respirator combine to create the airflow paths in the world’s first quad-flow cartridge system, providing greater breathability and comfort.

The 3M Secure Click Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge D8003 is NIOSH-approved for use against certain organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride/sulfur dioxide, or chlorine dioxide or hydrogen sulfide when used with approved 3M Secure click facepieces. Refer to the 3M Respirator Selection Guide for a list of chemicals for which these cartridges can be used. The D8003 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contain particulates, unless combined with approved particulate filters.

Change 3M Secure Click Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Cartridge D8003 in accordance to they-documented change-out schedule or earlier if smell, taste or irritation from contaminants is detected. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for the workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants and help determine cartridge change-out schedules. 3M Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of the choices.
