The vitrified bonded grinding wheels contain pink colored pure aluminum oxide grains, which are moderately tougher than standard white aluminum oxide minerals. These minerals are strong, but also offer a medium friability and cool cutting effect resulting in a long lasting and consistent abrasiveness.
