Basic Mechanism, Pivot Base
Heavy-duty automotive-type production clamp designed for extreme durability. This configuration is a basic toggle mechanism onto which an arm and handle can be welded at any desired angle. Precision, close-tolerance steel components throughout provide exceptionally smooth operation. Guided-arm feature provides positive lateral arm support. These clamps are built to withstand abuse. With just occasional lubrication, they will provide extremely long service life.
Application Information
Pivot-base version allows welding the clamp mechanism at any desired angle.
Straight-base version is ideal for welding onto a center plate.
Materials and Construction
Rugged alloy steel handle fork. Steel base and clamping arm. All pivot pins are are hardened and ground, running either in hardened bushings or the close-tolerance holes of hardened parts. The bottom pivot is a precision bolt which can be adjusted, if desired, to fine tune the amount of free play. Black oxide Finish. DFARS and RoHS compliant.
