These Captive Locating Screws have an integral hand knob for tightening by hand. This captive locating screw has an integral rotating washer which provides smooth clamping with consistent force. The addition of the swivel-washer and hand adjustable knob allow a stronger more secure pressurized hold maintaining security and durability for your applications. Captive Locating Screws can be used for locating and or clamping by selecting the appropriate screw length. This captive locating screw is proudly engineered & manufactured in the USA.
In fully retracted position, the bushing's spring clip holds the Locating Screw fully retracted by spring force and positively prevents removal. Spring pressure also holds the screw in intermediate extended positions.
