These heavy-duty removable-type keys are the standard fixture keys for large fixture plates. These keys are used for mounting all of the Rectangular Tooling Plates, blank and modular.
Locating Keys can be inserted from above, after placing the fixture plate on the machine table, to keep the underside free of obstructions. If desired, Locating Keys can be removed before machining, after the fixture is fastened to the machine table. The tapped hole in the key's top surface makes insertion and removal easier. Locating flats are accurate to within .0005" true position of the body Diameter (Inch)meter.
