Kurt DX6AR | Pneumatic Reverse Vise

The Kurt DX6AR reverse vise is part of our new automated DX vise series. The DX6AR shares many of the same great features of Kurt’s DX6 CrossOver vise with the addition of pneumatic actuation—allowing the vise to open and close using a Kurt pump system. Kurt pumps can make our pneumatic vise models actuate manually with a lever or foot-switch or operate within a fully automated robotic workflow as part of an automated machining cell.

Features a cast-on stationary jaw for less deflection and a more stable vise body when clamping, the same bed height and keyway to the stationary jaw face as the D688, a redesigned lighter-weight nut and a new brush seal design. The bearing pack is larger, stronger, and more durable than our other designs, and our proprietary AngLock spherical segment creates all-directional alignment and reduces jaw lift for improved performance
