3M Temflex vinyl electrical tape 165 is a good quality, multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape. It has great resistance to moisture and varying weather conditions. It is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tape that is flame-retardant and conformable. 3M Temflex 165 tape provides great mechanical protection with minimum bulk. It is a UL listed and CSA certified"Insulating tape." No solvents are used in the manufacturing process.

3M Temflex Vinyl electrical tape 165 is a multi-purpose, flame-retardant vinyl insulating tape. It is designed to perform in ambient temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F) while remaining conformable for cold weather applications down to 0 °C (32 °F). These properties make it an excellent choice for use in industrial, commercial and residential environments where a flame retardant, sunlight and cold resistance rating is required (UL510). Additionally, the combination of an elastic PVC backing and pressure-sensitive, rubber-based adhesive provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. 3M Temflex vinyl electrical tape 165 is UL and CSA listed, VDE certified and RoHS compliant.

• For Indoor And Protected Outdoor Use: Use where it is required to have a more sustainable, vinyl electrical tape with no volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• Primary Insulation: Use as insulation on applications up to 600 V at maximum temperature of 80 °C (176 °F) and minimum temperature of -10 °C (14 °F) on joints and splices in wires and cable (UL510)
• Overwrap Build-Up: For the harnessing and bundling of wires and cables where build-up is needed and minimum bulk is required
• CSA C22.2 No.197: Primary insulation to 1000 V at maximum temperature of 90 °C (194 °F) and minimum temp of 0 °C (32 °F) on joints and splices in wires and cables in accordance with the canadian electrical code, Part 1
• IEC 60454-3-1: Classification Type 5, designation IEC 60454-3-1-5/F-PVCP/90 for thermal index of 90°C (194°F) and a minimum temperature rating of 0°C (32°F)
