The 3M Secure click connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate filters. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and filter and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide they are confidence that the filters are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click filters are dual-flow to allow easier breathing.
3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P100 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief D3097 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3097 particulate filter may be used in a variety of applications such as metalworking, grinding, sanding and. Common uses of D3097 particulate filters include metal fumes produced from , brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. In addition, solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, , and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors. The D3097 may be used to help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials such as uranium and plutonium. It can also be used for asbestos. The D3097 is recommended for ozone protection up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL). The D3097 particulate filter is recommended for relief from nuisance levels of organic vapors. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding the OSHA PEL or other applicable government exposure limits, whichever is. The D3097 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting
