The A130 has a tapered shank to provide a better grip when holding the drill in the machine. It has a conventional 118 Degree point providing strength and making it easy to regrind. All A130 drills come with the patented Dormer Silver Ring which gives you the reassurance it is a genuine Dormer drill. The diameter of the drill is also etched onto the silver ring which makes it easy to find. The A130 has a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge and is made from premium high speed steel, suitable for drilling many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels.
