Dormer's S223HB 4-flute end mills with a Weldon shank have an unequal geometry, specially designed to reduce vibration and improve surface finish when used in CNC machines. To ensure great performance and a long tool life, the tools are manufactured from premium carbide, whilst the aluminium titanium nitride coating will guarantee a clean and accurate finish by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting surfaces of the tool. The medium length flute design provides good rigidity for milling standard slots and profiling, and the tools can be used for plunging, ramping and profile milling in stainless steels, cast iron and steels.
