S248HA 5-flute plain shank end mills from Dormer are manufactured from premium carbide for great performance and longer tool life. The medium length flute provides the high rigidity needed for standard profile milling and the aluminium titanium nitride coating prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you get clean and accurate results. The tools are very versatile and are suitable for plunging, ramping and profile milling in steels, cast irons and stainless steels. S248HA 5-flute milling cutters have a special geometry with an unequal helix, designed to reduce vibration and improve surface finish when used in CNC machines.
